Ski Resorts Head To Google Street View

Users of Internet giant Google can now browse images of ski trails, according to the company this morning, via a new "Special Collection" on its Street View feature. Google said it has added Rocky Mountain resorts Breckenridge, Deer Valley, as well as a number of others, to the street mapping program. The mapping feature allows users to navigate through ski trails, similarly to how they can navigate across streets, via their web browser. Google--which has seen some fierce complaints about Street View privacy--did not say if it would edit out embarrassing images of skiers cratering into snow banks or doing the snow plow from the photos.
