Sirenza Selected For WiMAX Solution

Broomfield, Colorado-based Sirenza Microdevices reports that it has been selected in a design win with Wavesat, a manufacturer of baseband chips for WiMAX systems. Wavesat will use Sirenza's power amplifier IC for a customer premise equipment solution. Sirenza develops amplifiers used by manufacturers for incorporating radio frequency (RF) capability for wireless devices. Sirenza's devices are based on InGaP HBT technology.
