Sirenza Gets Patent

Broomfield, Colorado-based Sirenza Microdevices announced this morning that it has been awarded a U.S. patent. The patent covers a multi-output amplifier, used in its cable television semiconductors targeted at the set-top box market. The patent, 6,967,531 was titled ""Multi-output amplifier with isolation between outputs" and names david J. seymour as inventor. Sirenza said that the patent allows a single cable television input to be split into multiple outputs with no signal loss, and has been incorporated into its existing designs.
