Simbulus Gets Funding For Woot Math
Boulder-based Simbulus, better known as Woot Math, has just scored a round of venture funding, from Foundry Ventures. Size of the investment was not announced. Woot Math is a tablet- and web-based application to teach kids fractions, which are sold both to school districts and teachers, as well as parents. Woot Math uses adaptive learning technology, personalized video instruction, and other techniques to help kids learn the concepts behind fractions. The company's apps currently run on iPad, Chrome, and the Web, and the company says the software will also soon run on Android. More information »
