Silver Creek Trumpets Health Care Win

Westminster, Colo.-based Silver Creek Systems Inc., a publisher of software that helps companies make sense of their unstructured data, revealed Tuesday that it has gained the business of a global health care firm. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Silver Creek identified its new client as Cardinal Health, a Dublin, Ohio-based manufacturer of medical and surgical supplies. Silver Creek said Cardinal Health has selected its flagship product, the DataLens System. DataLens, Silver Creek explained, uses semantic-based technology to process unstructured data in a manner the company claims is cheaper and more flexible than traditional data integration methods.
