section.io Bolsters Content Delivery Offering

Boulder-based Section.io, a startup developer of content delivery software and services, said today that it has added new security and performance tools to its offering. The startup, which graduated from Techstars in 2016, said it has added support for Threat X's Web Application Firewall and Google's PageSpeed as part of is website performance and security platform. Section.io says it has created a "Content Delivery Grid" which improves the performance and security of websites, and is an alternative to content delivery networks (CDNs), with a focus on DevOps. Section.io's co-founder and CEO is Stewart McGrath.
