SCO Group Updates Applications

Lindon, Utah-based SCO Group Inc., a developer of UNIX and mobile software, reported Thursday that it has released an updated version of its remote administration application. Called HipCheck 1.0.3, SCO said its latest edition offers real-time systems monitoring and intervention functions that can be executed from a growing list of mobile handsets. The new software now supports Microsoft Windows 2000, Sun Solaris and SCO UnixWare 7.1.1 through 7.1.3. SCO's software is used by systems administrators can monitor and manage UNIX and Windows server and desktop environments from their Windows Mobile-, Pocket PC- and Palm OS-based smart phones.
