S5 Wireless Lands $11.5M

Draper, Utah-based S5 Wireless has raised $11.5M in a Series B funding. The firm said yesterday that the funding came from Eagle River Holdings, Craig McCaw's investment company. The round also included vSpring Capital and Wasatch Venture Fund, two of the firm's prior investors. S5 develops wireless communications technology for tracking. The company last raised a $1.45M Series A in January of this year. More information »
