Rise Broadband Ups Wireless Speeds In Idaho

Denver-based fixed wireless broadband provider Rise Broadband said it has bumped the speed of its fixed wireless network in Idaho to up to 50 Megabits per second (Mbps) via Long Term Evolution (LTE). The company said the speed increases are available in and around Ashton, Menan, Newdale and Teton. The company said the upgrade will initially offer up twice the speed, and ultimately more than four times the speed of what the company had deployed previously. Rise charges $59.95 for the service, which it offers up to help provide high speed Internet in areas not served by fiber, cable, or wireline carriers.
