Recursion Pharmaceuticals Names COO

Salt Lake City-based biotech startup Recursion Pharmaceuticals announced Tuesday morning that it has named John Pereira as its new Chief Operating Officer. Pereira was previously the COO of Expertcity and a VP at AncestryDNA, and also has served at Amazon, and had been an officer in the US Navy. Pereira also sits on the boards of Athletigen and Channel Signal. Recursion recently raised $12.9M in a funding round to apply its artificial intelligence tools to the biotech and drug discovery market.
