Push IO Buys TapLynx From NewsGator

Boulder-based Push IO, which develops mobile push notification services, said Thursday that it has acquired TapLynx, s platform for creating iPone and iPad apps, from NewsGator. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Push IO develops mobile services, including push notification, content delivery, and data aggregation for mobile apps. Push IO was founded in 2009 by Joe Pezzillo and Dan Burcaw.
