PurpleLetter Takes On Political Outreach

Scottsdale, Arizona-based startup Purple Letter said today that it has launched a new service which helps anyone send First Class letters to elected officials, special interest groups, and the media. According to the firm--founded by Paige Maurer-Wheeler--it is looking to help individuals who want their voices heard, particularly during election time. Purple Letter charges $0.99 each for letters, which are sent directly to elected officials via mail. The new venture includes the involvement of Allan Kaplan, co-founder and chairman of Limelight Networks, Mark H. Love of Tamarck Capital Partners, and Anil Jain of BrightMonk Innovation, according to the firm's website.
