Provide Commerce, Liberty Media Merger Approved

Stockholders in Englewood, Colorado-based Liberty Media and San Diego-based Provide Commerce approved the two companies' merger yesterday. The firms said that the majority of stockholders of Provide Commerce approved the $477M deal, which was first announced in December. Liberty Media owns QVC, Encore, Starz, IAC/InterActiveCorp, Expedia, and News Corp. Provide Commerce is the operator of the popular ProFlowers online floral delivery service, along with other online retailers Cherry Moon Farms, Uptown Prime, and Secret Spoon.
