ProStor Introduces Archive System

Boulder, Colorado-based removable disk storage firm ProStor Systems said today that it has introduced a new, removable disk archive system targeted at SMBs. The firm said that its new InfiniVault archive appliance is built around its RDX removable disk technology, and is targeted at long-term data preservation, e-discovery, and regulatory compliance applications. The new systems range from capacities of 1.6TB to 39TB of storage, and start at $10,995. The firm said it will sell the new archiving products as its own branded solution through the channel. ProStor is venture backed by Sutter Hill, New Enterprise Associates, and Boulder Ventures.
