ProPay Targets Mobile Rent Payments

Lehi, Utah-based ProPay, a provider of online payment, merchant services, mobile payment, and other related services, has set its sights on the mobile rent payment market. The company--which is now owned by TSYS--said it has rolled out a service to provide rent payments via mobile devices for the property management industry. The company said the new software lets property management owners accept payments via credit card. The company said that there are now almost 50 million Generation Y Millenials in the rental market, with 80 percent of them owning smartphones.
