Ping Identity Wins NYU Stern School

Denver-based Ping Identity, the developer of single-sign on security tools, reported today that the firm's products are being used by the New York university Stern School of Business. According to Ping, it products are being used in conjunction with products from social collaboration firm Socialtext, to allow students and staff to collaborate on projects. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Ping is venture backed by Appian Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, General Catalyst Partners, I-Vent, SAP Ventures, and Volition Capital.
