Photo Stencil Expands In Colorado

Colorado Springs-based Photo Stencil, a provider of tooling for the semiconductor industry, said Monday that it has expanded in Colorado, and is opening up a new manufacturing plant in Golden, Colorado. The company said it is opening up a new, 35,200 square foot facility with three cleanrooms, used to manufacture stencils used in advanced semiconductor and SMT packaging. The firm did not say how much it is investing in the new facility, which has a a 10,000 sq. ft. Class 10,000 cleanroom, a 4500 sq. ft. Class 1,000 cleanroom, and a small Class 100 cleanroom. Photo Stencil's tooling and equipment is used in semiconductor, surface mount, and solar panel manufacturing.
