Pelion Backs User Authentication API Maker StormPath

Salt Lake City-based venture capital investor Pelion Ventures has made another, cloud-based software investment, this time in StormPath, which develops user authentication and management APIs for app developers. STormPath said it raised $8.2M in a Series A round, which was led by both Pelion Ventures and New Enterprise Assocations. Flybridge Capital Partners also participated in the funding. StormPath's APIs and tools are used by mobile app developers to manage and handle user authentication and management. More information »
