Pelion Backs CloudFlare

Salt Lake City-based Pelion Ventures has re-upped its investment in a Silicon Valley firm, Cloudflare, which provides web site optimization and security tools. CloudFlare said that it has raised $20M in a Series B round, which was led by New Enterprise Associates, and also included Pelion Ventures and venrock, both prior investors in the firm. Pelion's investment in CloudFlare is overseen by Carl Ledbetter.
