Parchment Bolsters Board

Scottsdale, Arizona-based Parchment, which develops an online platform to help schools and universities transfer transcripts and other information, said today that it has added a new member to its board of directors. Parchment said it had added Ethan Beard, a former Facebook and Google executive, to its board of directors as an independent director. Beard most recently oversaw worldwide developer relations, operations and product marketing for the Facebook API. He also previously served at Google.
