OrganicID Acquired By Weyerhaeuser

Colorado Springs, Colorado-based OrganicID, a developer of printed radio frequency identification devices, was acquired Wednesday by Washington-based Weyerhaeuser Company. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. OrganicID develops technology used to design and develop low cost RFID tags for inventory control and supply chain applications, and was backed by ITU Ventures. Weyerhaeuser is a provider of wood and forest products. More information »
