Optiv Files For IPO

Denver-based Optiv, the developer of cybersecurity software majority owned by Blackstone Group, has filed for an IPO, saying on Friday that it is looking to list on the New York Stock Exchange as OPTV. The company's IPO is being underwritten by Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs & Co., Barclays, Citigroup, Blackstone Capital Markets, Raymond James, William Blair, Evercore, Guggenheim Securities, and PJT Partners LP. Optiv is 58.53% owned by Blackstone, with 24.6 percent owned by Investcorp and 7.27 percent owned by Sverica. The company says it is expected to seek as much as $100M in its IPO.
