Optiv Adds General Petraeus, Former McAfee CEO DeWalt To Board

Denver-based cyber security provider Optiv has made two big appointments to its board, saying on Thursday that it has added retired United State Army General David Petraeus, along with Dave DeWalt, the former FireEye and McAfee CEO, to its board. Petraeus was also formerly director of the CIA. DeWalt was most recently CEO of FireEye, and was in charge of McAfee when it was acquired by Intel for $7.7 billion. DeWalt also served at EMC Corporation, Documentum, Quest Software, Segue and Oracle Corporation. Petraeus is also involved with private equity investment firm KKR, serving as a member oft he firm and Chairman of the KKR Global Institute.
