New Global to Provide VoIP for Atlantic Broadband

New Global Telecom, a wholesale voice-over-Internet provider, announced that it has added a top 15 cable operator, Atlantic Broadband, to its roster of clients. According to an agreement between the two companies, New Global will become the managed services provider for Atlantic Broadband's SIP-based telephony solutions for residential and business customers. New Global said its service will include U.S. telephone numbers, an FCC-compliant 9-1-1 hotline and key back-office functionalities such as end-user billing. New Global will begin serving Atlantic Broadband's residential customers this quarter and business clients later this year. New Global Telecom is headquartered in Golden, Colorado and provides Voice-over-IP services.
