Needle Wins Urban Outfitters

Salt Lake City-based Needle, the provider of online chat services to e-commerce providers, said today that it has added Urban Outfitters as a client. The firm, which is headed by Morgan Lynch, said that Urban Outfitters will use its Guided Shopping Platform to provide personalized shopping to visitors. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Needle is venture backed by Lightbank, the investment firm of the founders of Groupon, along with other investors. Lynch was the founder of LogoWorks, which he sold to HP in 2007.
