MPC To Deploy Dual-Core Xeon
Nampa, Idaho-based MPC Computers, a provider of server PCs, said today that it will use Intel's Dual-Core Xeon processors in its upcoming version of its MPC NetFrame server line. Intel began shipping its new line of "Dempsey" Xeon processors during the first quarter. So far, HP, IBM, Dell, and SuperMicro are also saying they will support the new line of 64-bit processors for their next generation systems.
