MokiMobility Gets $2M In Seed Funding

MokiMobility, a developer of software used to secure, monitor, and manage mobile devices, said today that it has raised $2M in a seed funding round. The round was led by Epic Ventures, and also included individuals Spencer Tall (Allegis Capital) and Tyler Smith (Fusion-io). The Utah startup, which is headed by Tom Karren, is developing security and management software for the tablet market, particularly those used by businesses in point of sale applications for retail stores, restaurants, and hotels.
