Mobilitat Acquired By Syncromatics

Green River, Wyoming-based Mobilitat, a developer of mobile dispatching software for the public transportation market, has been acquired by Los Angeles-based Syncromatics, the companies said this morning. Green River-based Mobilitat will continue to have an office in Wyoming, and will retain all of its employees after the acquisition. Mobilitat was founded and led by Cindy Johnson, who becomes President of a new Demand Response Division for Syncromatics, and also will join the Syncromatics board of directors. The two companies said they have be‌en in a partnership for a year serving technology to the transit area, and have a product called Open MDT, an Android-based Mobile Data Terminal used to allow transit agencies to switch between fixed route mode and demand response mode.
