Ancestry said this morning that it has record breaking sales in November, driven by the sales of its AncestryDNA kits. Financial details and shipment volumes on the DNA kits were not annoucned, hwoever, the company said it has now sold more than 14 million DNA kits worldwide in total. The company's sales came both via its own site, as well as on Amazon. Amazon had noted the big sales of Ancestry's AncestryDNA kit post Cyber Monday. The company's kit allows users to submit their DNA for genetic testing, and helping to provide further insights to users' heritage and background, as well as links into Ancestry's database of family history and historical records.
