H5 Data Centers Buys Data Center In San Antonio
Denver-based colocation and data center provider H5 Data Centers announced this morning that it has acquired an 85,000 square foot data center, and carrier hotel, in San Antonio, Texas. According to the company, the acquisition is its first in Texas, and brings its total data centers owned to thirteen. The company did not say how much it paid for the new data center and carrier hotel. H5 Data Centers said the acquisition will help it expand in Texas, and said that San Antonio is both a key point of interconnection between long haul routes, and is also one of the safest locations for a data center from a risk management perspective. The data center is located at 100 Taylor Street in downtown San Antonio.
