CoreSite Gets Expansion Approval In Virginia
Denver-based data center operator CoreSite Realty said on Thursday that it has received approval for its expansion efforts in Reston, Virgina. According to CoreSite, the approval to modify zoning requirements at its new site allows it to add 289,900 net rentable square feet to the site, or an incremental 50 megawatts, bringing the total to approximately 900,000 square feet. CoreSite acquired the property in Reston in 2016. The data center campus spans 21.75 acres.
