Silicon Valley-based personal genomics company
Helix said this morning that it has acquired Denver-based
HumanCode, and set up an office in Denver, Colorado. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. According to Helix, the new office came because of the "depth of talent and rapidly expanding tech and biotech scene" in what it calls the "Silicon Mountain" region. As a part of the acquisition, Helix said that HumanCode's co-founder, Ryan Trunck and Jennifer Lescallett, plus HumanCode's entire team, will join the company.
