ViaWest is boosting its focus on information security, saying this morning that it has named its first, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), a new position at the company. ViaWest says it has promoted
Annalea Ilg to Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at the firm, from her prior role as Vice President of Quality, Security and Compliance. Ilg has also previously served in a number of other roles at ViaWest, and prior to that had been at CoSentry, Central States Indemnity Co. of Omaha, Midlands Newspapers, Inc. and St. Francis Hospital of Georgia.
