Insight Enterprises Buys Datalink
Tempe, Arizona-based IT hardware, software, and services provider Insight Enterprises announced this morning that it has acquired Minnesota-based IT services provider Datalink Corporation. Insight Enterpris says it will pay approximately $258M for Datalink. The deal is worth $196M net of cash and debt acquired. Insight will pay $11.25 per share in cash for publicly traded Datalink, which trades on the Nasdaq as DTLK. DataLink has approximately 570 employees. Insight was advised by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in the transaction; Datalink was advised by Raymond James & Associates and Faegre Baker Daniels LLP.
