University of Utah Set To Offer Certification For Unity Game Design Software
Need a foot up on getting that job in the videogame industry? Students at the University of Utah have the option of getting certification for its software, to help in that effort, says videogame development software company Unity Technologies. Unity--which is known for its 2D, 3D, virtual reality, and augmented reality game engine--says that the U of U will let all senior undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in its Entertainment Arts & Engineering (EAE) program the chance to become Unity Certified Developers, free of charge. Unity says that certification allows developers to design and programming skills and demonstrate proficiency in its platform, which is heavily used for videogame development.
