Denver-based
Kwippit, a startup developing an app that lets users send images via text, email, and other apps to help users enhance their messages, has raised $2.5M in a seed funding, the company disclosed today. The funding came from Wildcat Capital Management and Dave Leyrer of FirstMark Capital. Kwippit says that today's messages "lack any meaningful form of self-expression beyond words" and "emojis are just lame." The company sources its images from independent artists, who apply to publish their images on the site.
