Report: Techstars Among Top Eight Accelerators In US
Boulder-based startup accelerator operator Techstars has ranked among the top eight accelerators in the United States, according to a new report from the Seed Accelerator Rankings Project. The research group--run by researchers at Rice University and the University of North Carolina, as well as MIT--ranked high tech startup accelerators around the nation, finding that Techstars was a "Platinum" ranked accelerator in its report, the top category the researchers gave for the business startup accelerators. Techstars had ranked #3 in the nation in the Seed Accelerator Rankings Project last year; the organizers decided this year to not give a specific, numeric ranking to programs, but only to bunch them into rough categories.
