Techstars Expands Sprint Accelerator Beyond Healthcare Apps
Boulder-based startup accelerator operator Techsstars said late Tuesday that the Sprint Mobile Accelerator, the startup accelerator effort it runs in conjunction with wireless provider Sprint, to any kind of mobile startup. The accelerator program was previously focused on only health startupss, as the Spring Mobile Health Accelerator. The program is held in Kansas. Techstars said it is looking for companies in the area of wearables, consumer apps, mobile services, Internet-of-Things, data and analytics, health and wellnesss, and mobile enterprise apps in the upcoming class; the program begins on Feburary 22nd, and offers up to $120,000 funding for startups.
