Contour Merges With iON Cameras
Provo, Utah-based action sports camera maker Contour and fellow camera manufacturer iON Cameras said this morning that the two have agreed to merge. Financial details of the deal were not announced. According to the two companies, Contour CEO James Harrison will become President of the company, with iON Camera' CEO, Giovanni Tomaselli, serving as CEO of the new company. Contour moved to Utah in 2014, after a Utah team acquired the assets of then-defunct Contour.
