LifeLock Names Facebook CMO As Board Member
Tempe, Arizona-based LifeLock, the provider of identity theft protection services, said it has named Gary Briggs--Chief Marketing Officer at Facebook--to its board of directors. Briggs recently was appointed to the marketing role at Facebook, having served as an advisor to the CEO of Motorola Mobility/Google. LifeLock said Briggs had been VP of Consumer Marketing for Google, heading up that company's marketing efforts for search, commerce, Google+, Google.org, and the Google brand. Briggs also had served at eBay, Pepsi, and IBM.
