Rally Software Buys Flowdock For Agile Communications
Boulder-based Rally Software, the provider of Agile software development tools, is expanding its offerings today via an acquisition, of social collaboration software developer Flowdock. According to Rally, the acquisition adds unified communications and collaboration ot its platform. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed.
Flowdock's tools are used by Agile software development teams to collaborate on their projects, pulling in information from project management tools, version control, customer feedback and more. As part of the buy, Rally also said it has picked up some talent--Otto Hilska, Mikael Roos and Tuomas Silen--the founders of Flowdock.
