Harris Broadcast Communications Deal Completes
The acquisition of Denver-based Harris Broadcast Communications completed Monday, officially spinning out the former division of Harris as an independent company. Harris Broadcast Communications was acquired by private equity firm The Gores Group, a deal which was worth $225M. The deal had originally been announced in December. Harris Broadcast Communications supplies hardware and software to create, manage, transmit, and distribute video content for the broadcast television industry. Harris Broadcast Communicaitons said it will use the buy to "move the business forward" and help drive innovation, streamline operations, and improve customer service.
