BlogFrog Scores $3.2M
Boulder-based BlogFrog, which develops a social marketing software product aimed at helping brands gain access to bloggers, said this morning that it has raised $3.2M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Grotech Ventures, and also included its existing investors, including TechStars' David Cohen. The company said the funds will go towards expansion of its platform. BlogFrog helps brands reach bloggers, via online communities, sponsored "conversations", and custom publishing services. According to BlogFrog, it will also be using the round to double its headcount before the end of the year, and will be opening up an additional office in New York City to serve its agency clients. BlogFrog had previously raised a seed funding round in January of last year.
