Fusion-io Targets Entertainment
Salt Lake City-based Fusion-io, the developer of flash-based solid state storage products, looks to be targeting the use of its products in entertainment production. The firm said this morning that it has tied with a number of partners, including NVIDIA, Thinkbox Software and Tweak Software, to who how its products can be used to accelerate entertainment production. The firm is demonstrating its products along with its partners at SIGGRAPH 2011.
