Zayo Wins Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center
Louisville, Colorado-based bandwidth provider Zayo said Thursday that it has scored a win with the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, to link that center to its optical network infrastructure. Zayo said it will provide the optical infrastructure to connect the cener to the National Oceanic and Administration (NOAA) in Fairmont, West Virginia. Financial impact of the win was not announced. Zayo's high bandwidth connections are going towards supporting data collection and delivery for the NOAA's projects.
