Zayo Group, which is based in Louisville, Colorado, has reported its quarterly results, saying that it had a net loss of $16.7M on revenues of $79.7M for its third quarter, which ended March 31, 2011. Revenues grew by 9 percent sequentially from last quarter. The firm said growth came mostly from organic factors, as the firm did not make any acquisitions in the quarter. Prior to the quarter, Zayo was on an aggressive acquisition roll, which had helped to boost its prior revenue numbers. Zayo is privately held, yet has been disclosing its financials as if it were a public company.
