UQM Technologies Links With Audi
Longmont, Colorado-based UQM Technologies, the developer of electric motors for the automobile and other sectors, said today that it is supplying its PowerPhase electric propulsion systems to Audi. The firm said the systems are part of a test-fleet build and vehicle development process for the Audi A1 e-tron all electric vehicle. Financial details of the win were not disclosed by UQM. UQM said that the firm's equipment is part of an evaluation of new technologies and vehicles.
