DISH Rolls Out 3D Movies
Englewood, Colorado-based satellite TV provider DISH Network said Thursday that it is rolling out multiple, 3D movies on its DISH Cinema On Demand service. According to the firm, it is rolling out "Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore," "The Last Airbender," "A Christmas Carol" and "Step Up 3D" now, and will be opening "Despicable Me," "Shrek Forever After," and "Saw: The Final Chapter" in January. The titles will be available for rent at between $5.99 and $7.99, and require specific equipment, including a 3D television set and glasses, plus Dish's ViP 922 HD DVR.
