Scottsdale, Arizona-based iGo, a developer of power management products and mobile electronics accessories, said Thursday afternoon that it is in a collaboration with Texas Instruments. iGo said it is working with Texas Instruments to develop an integrated circuit which implements its technology to eliminate vampire power draw by electronics chargers. iGo said the new IC will go into its own products, and that it will also make the chip available to OEMs. The company did not detail the extent of the relationship, and if the relationship is purely just using TI for fabrication.
