LANDesk Acquired By Private Equity Firm Thoma Bravo
Salt Lake City-based LANDesk Software, the developer of IT services management software, announced this morning that it is in a deal to be acquired by private equity firm Thoma Bravo. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. LANDesk is currently owned by Emerson. According to LANDesk, the move is aimed at accelerating the firm's revenue growth. The company said that current EVP and Gm Steve Daly will become CEO of the firm as part of the buyout.
